TT scale for me

Have been collecting slowly items from Piko and Tillig. Also buying the odd figures from Noch. Buildings from Busch and vehicles from Herpa. As my SAR modelling takes so much of my time. My interests in TT have had to take a back seat but I do want to start building my first TT layout this year.

Dortmund INTERMODELLBAU 2009

Will be attending INTERMODELLBAU in Dortmund later this week. Look forward to seeing all the new TT models from Piko, Tillig, Kühn and many of the small cottage industry firms making TT models.

The show normally has some great TT layouts in action, lets hope this year is no different.

Will hopefully have some pictures for the blog next week.

Piko Delay

Got news from my local supplier that the Piko BR 151 DB AG will be delayed until middle of April. Some samples has started to appear in German modelling magazines, this loco looks to be the best yet from Piko in TT scale.

Welcome to my new blog, aimed at modelling in the TT scale. Having modelled Ho scale since my 5th birthday and do not plan to stop modelling Ho scale. About 2 years ago the TT scale started drawing me towards this wonderful scale, especially when I saw the Hobby Line PIKO model of the Taurus electric at a low cost of €50.00
So I bought my first ever TT loco and have not looked back.

I have had on order for nearly 6 months the new PIKO BR 151 DB AG, the project has been delayed but its now close to release after a finished sample was shown at the Toy fair last month in Germany. Release is expted towards the end of March. Below is a picture from Piko.
